The Washington County Water Conservancy District currently manages pipelines, reservoirs, wells, storage tanks, treatment plants, hydropower plants, a diversion dam and more. These facilities currently produce more than 60 million gallons of water a day.
The district delivers water for municipal, irrigation and industrial uses and for the production of hydroelectric power. The water is diverted from surface water sources and delivered primarily by a large network of pipelines that span more than 200 miles. The pipelines are interconnected to hydropower plants, reservoirs, municipal water systems, irrigation canals and more – all of which combine to serve the various needs of our community.
