| Project Description | PUBLIC NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS CHIEF TOQUER PUMP STATION PROJECTThe Washington County Water Conservancy District is issuing an Invitation for Bids for the Chief Toquer Pump Station Project.
A copy of the Invitation for Bids is available at wcwcd.gov/procurement.
Project details: The Project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 500 feet of 20” and 300 feet of 24” ductile iron pipeline with related tie-in, valve and fittings; furnishing and installing approximately 850 feet of 1¼” HDPE communication conduit with related pull boxes; construction of a 33’ x 24’ pump station with three 125 horsepower pumps, piping and appurtenances, and electrical system; construction of a valve vault with valves and fittings; and other miscellaneous site improvements.
Project location: The project site is located near the intersection of Toquerville Parkway and Pond Hill Road at the north end of the existing Toquerville Secondary Water Storage Pond.
Scope of work: The Contractor shall furnish all materials and perform all work for the Project.
Mandatory pre-bid conference: A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the Washington County Water Conservancy District offices located at 533 E Waterworks Drive, St. George, Utah.
Bids due: To be responsive to this Invitation for Bids, interested bidders must submit their bids no later than 10:00 AM Mountain Daylight Savings Time on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Late submissions, including those delayed by technical issues, will not be accepted. Bidders are solely responsible for ensuring their bids are submitted on time.
Additional information: The District will manage this solicitation through the Kahua Online Bid Room application. All bids must be submitted via Kahua. Kahua is a secure web-based application where bidders receive bid invitations and submit sealed bid proposals. Please see the Invitation for Bids for instructions on accessing Kahua.
