The district is seeking statements of qualifications from qualified design professionals to provide Engineering Design and Construction Management Services for the LaVerkin Pond & Pipeline Project.
This project is a component of the overall Regional Reuse Purification Program and is also tied to the LaVerkin Secondary System Improvement Project, identified in the district’s 20-Year Plan.

This LaVerkin Pond and Pipeline project includes the design and construction management of a concrete settling pond and an adjacent lined pressure regulating pond that will serve as a pump forebay for two future pump stations. The first pump station will be a low-head, high volume pump station to boost pressure into the LaVerkin Secondary System and is included in the scope of this project. The second pump station will eventually convey Type I reuse water produced during winter months to Chief Toquer Reservoir for storage and use in the Toquerville Secondary System. The scope of this project will only consider the space and connections needed for the future pump station, while design and construction management will be part of a future project. The preliminary layout and design of the facilities will be coordinated with the district and the landowner, from whom land is being acquired. This project also includes design and construction management of approximately 6,000 ft of 18-inch Ductile Iron Pipe to convey Type I Reuse water from the CPWRF to the new pressure regulating pond
