Privacy Policy
What do we collect?
Like most sites you visit, we automatically collect standard statistical information. This information includes data like your IP address, browser type, pages accessed and duration of visit.
If you decide to pay your bill online, we use a third party merchant who specializes in these types of transactions. When you make an online transaction, the billing information, including the name, billing address, account number, credit card number and expiration date, may be used to process the transaction. All this information is encrypted during the transaction and, except for the complete account or credit card number, is later accessible to us.
In some circumstances, including if you voluntarily participate in one of our conservation programs, receive a conservation rebate, or sign up to receive information on our efforts and events through our email list, we may collect personally identifiable information from you such as your name, phone number, mailing or home address and email address. IRS W-9 forms are collected by participants of the Water Efficient Landscape Program to comply with federal tax reporting requirements.
How do we use it?
The information we receive from statistical and voluntary means may be used for qualitative and quantitative research to help us improve our services and programs.
We may use information like your email address, mailing address, or home address to send you emergency information and occasional promotional information, like invitations to special events, unless you have opted out of these types of communications.
If you voluntarily participate in one of our conservation rebate programs, we may share your information with the Utah Division of Water Resources.
We do not disclose, sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any other outside parties.
Google Analytics
The website implement’s Google’s analytics demographics and interest reporting. This information may be used to improve our website and other services we provide. Google allows individuals to opt-out of this feature by going to their analytics opt-out manager.
Security
We follow procedures and use technological measures designed to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access. However, data transmissions over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Because of this, we cannot ensure the security of any information you send to us.

We reserve the right to change this policy at any time by posting revisions on this site. This privacy policy is not intended to and does not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of any party.
