REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (extended to Nov. 13)
The Washington County Water Conservancy District (district) is seeking proposals for outside counsel. Proposals must be received by the district no later than Monday, November 13, 2023, 5:00 pm. REQUEST FOR BIDS (closes November 30)
Separate sealed bids for the Quail to Cottam Pipeline Project will be received by Washington County Water Conservancy District at its office (533 East Waterworks Drive, St. George, Utah 84770) until 2:00 pm, Thursday November 30, 2023. At that time, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will be held on November 16, 2023 at 1:00 pm, meeting at the parking lot adjacent to the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources building near the Quail Creek Reservoir dam. Any bidder not attending the pre-bid meeting will be considered non-responsive.
The project consists of the construction of the approximately 3.8-miles of owner supplied 24-inch diameter ductile iron pipeline and appurtenances. The work also includes clear and grubbing, excavation and rock excavation, hauling, disposal, compaction, finish grading, surface restoration, and all other work associated with construction of the pipeline.

Bidders must be on the plan holders list to submit a bid. Copies of the contract documents and specifications will be available on Tuesday, November 7 for free via email; printed copies are available for $50 per set at 20 North Main, Suite 107, St. George, Utah 84770. Provide at least two day’s notice to the engineer if printed copies are requested.
